Our three and four year old preschoolers at LOPC enjoy a developmentally appropriate classroom environment that enhances our ABeka curriculum. The ABeka curriculum provides a strong foundation upon which language, math, science and social skills are built.
Our phonics-based reading program helps develop language skills. Daily language lessons are introduced to support literacy and language development. Preschoolers enjoy reading age-appropriate books and are taught library skills in our Center Library.
Children in our preschool program are encouraged to make friends and develop social skills and self-confidence. Outside playtime offers ways to improve coordination and refine gross motor skills.
Children are like wet cement... whatever falls on them makes a lasting impression.
While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about.
