Leader in Training (L.I.T.) Program for Seventh and Eight Graders
Not ready for your Middle Schooler to be home alone?
We understand that your Middle School child doesn't want to attend daycare. We also understand that you may not be ready for your child to stay home alone. We developed a program that will help you encourage your child to attend our center by allowing her/him to be part of a program whereby they work with our staff as a Leader In Training. In this capacity, you may find them shadowing a teacher in her classroom, helping the director cut or sort craft items for the younger children, or helping a teacher by reading a story to her class. They receive special LIT staff shirts so they are recognized as leaders in the center. Your child will never be left unsupervised in the center, nor will she be left alone with children.
