Our 3-yr old classes enjoyed a trip to the Pumpkin Patch in Denham Springs. They listened to stories about fall and about pumpkins, and were then allowed to run through the pumpkin patch. They rubbed, smelled, sat on, kicked (lightly!), and jumped over pumpkin after pumpkin. There was a real teepee to play in, and afterward they picked their very own pumpkin to bring home. We enjoyed lunch at Punk Smith memorial park in Walker before returning to the center. It was a great day!
